After-school care and activities (SEA)
During their after-school care, the École internationale Differdange et Esch-sur-Alzette offers primary school children (aged 6 - 12) an education and care service (SEA – Service d’éducation et d’accueil) from Monday to Friday at both the Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette sites.
SEA programme
Morning: gentle welcome in the activity rooms before classes start;
Lunch: buffet lunch, free play and various workshops;
Afternoon: after-school activities, free play and homework supervision;
During the school holidays, SEA organises more specific projects and excursions.
The SEA's educational team works on the basis of an open-ended pedagogical concept that allows for an education adapted to each child. The SEA reception rooms have different functions offering the following services: art and creativity, role play, board games, sport and motor skills, construction games, catering and homework supervision.
SEA opening hours and periods
During the school term, opening hours are as follows:

Mornings from 6.30 a.m. to 8.15 a.m.;

At midday;

After school until 7.00 p.m.
During school holidays and on days when the school is exceptionally closed, SEA is open from 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
SEA closure periods
SEA remains closed:

Saturdays and Sundays;
-
All public holidays;
-
from 27th December to 31st December 2024 inclusive.

To take advantage of these services, you must first register.

A special registration form will be sent to parents by email before each school holiday period and before each day on which the SEA is open on an exceptional basis.
