In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the International School of Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette (EIDE) undertakes to respect and protect the privacy of users of its website eide.lu.
The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform visitors about the nature of any data that may be collected, the purpose for which it is collected, and the rights of the individuals concerned.

2. Data collected

EIDE does not collect any personal data via its website, with the exception of:
    • the user's email address when they fill in an online contact form.
This email address is used solely to enable the organisation to respond to the user's request.
No other personal data is collected automatically by the website (except for standard technical data related to website hosting and security).

3. Purpose of processing

The email address provided via the contact forms is processed solely for the purpose of:
  • respond to a request for information,
  • ensure direct communication with the user.
This address is not retained beyond the processing of the request and is not used for commercial, advertising or statistical purposes.

4. Data retention
Email addresses submitted via contact forms are not stored permanently and are not included in any permanent database.

5. No cookies

The eide.lu website does not use any cookies, whether technical, analytical, advertising or tracking cookies.
No browsing data is collected, tracked or analysed for statistical or commercial purposes via cookies.

6. Content published on the website

The eide.lu website may contain texts, photographs or other elements concerning members of the school community (pupils, teachers, staff, former pupils, partners).
Any person concerned by this content has rights under the GDPR (see section 7).

7. Rights of data subjects (GDPR)

In accordance with the GDPR, any person whose personal data appears on the website has the following rights:
  • right of access,
  • right to rectification,
  • right to erasure,
  • right to object,
  • right to restriction of processing.

Requests will be processed as soon as possible and in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

The International School of Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette has a local data protection officer.
