Teaching

In the Early Education cycle, teaching and learning are holistic, and the different subjects are not separated from one another.
The core content of the Early Education programme comprises four areas: ‘Me and my body’, ‘Me as a person’, ‘Me and others’ and ‘Me and the world’. These areas are based on the physical, psychological, social, cognitive and emotional development of children.

In primary school, the focus is on the mother tongue, mathematics and the first foreign language, without neglecting art, music, sports, world discovery, religion or secular ethics, as well as ‘European hours’ where children of different nationalities meet to participate in various activities.
