School Trips

School Trips: A Cornerstone of Our International School's Educational Approach

At our international school, school trips are an integral part of our educational concept. These trips, organised each year for pupils from nursery school to S7, are a unique opportunity for our pupils to discover the world, develop their curiosity, deepen their learning and strengthen cohesion within the school community.

Educational Trips for S3 and S6 Students

Secondary school pupils, particularly those in S3  and S6, also take part in memorable school trips, which are generally organised as part of more complex educational and cultural activities. These trips are an opportunity to reinforce learning in certain subjects, discover new cultures and participate in international collaborative projects. For example, trips may include visits to companies, scientific seminars or exchanges with partner schools abroad.

An Obligation and a Commitment

School trips are an essential part of our school's educational programme and are therefore compulsory for all pupils. They form an integral part of the assessment of their personal and academic development. In addition, they are designed to strengthen bonds between pupils, promote diversity and open-mindedness, and contribute to the development of global citizens. Therefore, all pupils must participate, unless an exception is approved by the school management.

Any absence from the school trip must be justified and a request for prior authorisation must be submitted to the school management. Unjustified absences may compromise the student's development and participation in educational projects related to the trip. We strongly encourage parents and students to get involved in this process and to take the necessary steps if it is not possible to participate.

Conclusion

School trips are much more than just a leisure activity. They are a vehicle for learning and personal development in an international setting, and play a key role in shaping each student's educational journey, from nursery school to secondary school. We firmly believe that these experiences help to shape individuals who are open-minded, curious and ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow's world.
