- PresentationDuring out-of-school care hours, the École internationale de Differdange et Esch-sur-Alzette offers a Primary Education and Care Service (SEA) for primary school children (4 to 12 years old), from Monday to Friday, both on the Differdange campus and on the Esch-sur-Alzette campus.
SEA programme
- In the morning: a gentle welcome in the activity rooms before the start of lessons
- At lunchtime: buffet meals, free play and various workshops
- In the afternoon: extracurricular activities, free play and supervised homework time
- During school holidays, the SEA organises more specific projects and excursions
The SEA educational supervision team works on the basis of an open pedagogical approach, allowing education and care to be adapted to each child. The SEA facilities are organised into different functional areas offering the following activities: arts and creativity, role play, board games, sports and motor skills development, construction games, catering, and supervised homework time.SEA opening hours and periods
During the school term, the opening hours are as follows:- in the morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
- at lunchtime
- from the end of lessons until 7:00 p.m.
During school holidays and on exceptional school closure days, the SEA is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.SEA closure periods
The SEA remains closed:- on Saturdays and Sundays
- on all public holidays
- from 24 December 2026 (from 4:00 p.m.) to 3 January 2027 inclusive.
